Landscape Irrigation Audits
Water is a precious natural resource here in the southwest. While using native plants in the landscape is wonderful and requires little supplemental irrigation there are occasions when irrigation is required. Even more so with plants that are not native to the desert southwest.
Unfortunately, a large amount of clean drinking water is wasted through poor irrigation practices. As a matter of fact 90% of irrigation systems we check have issues related to improper irrigation and poor maintenance.
During a landscape water audit we evaluate your system for leaks and efficiency based on plant material, environmental factors such as soil type or shade/sun requirements and emitter flow effectiveness. By the time we are done you will feel confident that your landscape irrigation system is not wasting water and that your plants are getting exactly what they need for optimum health.

Wildlife Inspired Poetry
Night Claimant
(Upon finding coyote scat in our walled yard)
Light footed survivor
Easily over the wall,
What was there to explore
In my piece of urban sprawl?
…Or was your seedy scat
Meant to jar my recall,
In case I'd forgotten that
For generations you owned it all?
Robert Grieves
Morning
Awareness arose early
To the light touch
Of cool desert air.
Not yet wilted,
Evening Primrose was there
Bathing in lavenders
Balm of breath.
But, attention turned
To the Agave
As it stood to face death;
It’s store of creative energy
Thrust to the sky.
…And morning learned
Life’s preferred way to die.
Robert Grieves
